Perspectives
What joy to learn just what
an ass you are,
And look at life with spectacles so clear -
To know your destinations were too far
And all there was to offer yet so near.
For some of us reflection's
not our friend
To cause us look back at behavior bad.
Yet when we find some humour at the end
It's hard to see the sense in being mad.
Of all the joys that life
does have to off'r
Companionship's among the highest tier.
So why is nastiness a gift I proff'r
When loneliness is all I really fear.
Let's pray some wisdom might
descend for those
Disciples who wish life should never close.
