He caught a ball he should have dropped, m'lads,
And Princeton lost the game she should have won.
'Twas blatant prideful ignorance - Begads,
Diversity the path should she have shun?
The rounded class appears sheer lunacy
In forming higher education's scale -
West College dons the ones who earned their "D"
For that sad day on which she lost to Yale?
But how she lost is what might hurt the most.
Although athleticism shined so bright
'Twas mental mediocrity to toast -
Could she've deprived deserving souls her light?
"Well-rounded, hungry, smart" perhaps the test?
(Then let Old Yale and Harvard take the rest....)
