Some Questions For Love's Allegiance

For its allegiance does Love need respect
No matter what transpires in its course?
For Love's persistence need one be correct
In satisfying cravings from the source?

The criticism one endures from all
Who cannot measure up to standards placed
Inevitably then must cause the fall
Of those who can't sustain the higher taste?

The final judgment is reserved for Him
Whose greatest thoughts were serendipity?
Did Bohr and Schroedinger but form a limb
Or just the very trunk of physics' tree?

So is Our Maker Oz, or better yet?
Might we just need the power to forget?
