The world turns cold and bleak with eery speed.
Consider, though, what underlines the fuss
Necessitating needs for such a deed.
It's true that you were everything to me
Yet I was but your breen-eyed little girl.
How could you leave and not say, "Bye", to free
Such angst as would my world begin to whirl?
It's so my darling child, I've loved you most
And yet not e'en in you could I confide
Th'enormous shame in me my life did host
As left such awful emptiness inside.
