Alma Mater, Goodbye

Sail on, sail on and plough the frenzied sea
Of Mystery so we dare leave our berth.

Let stormy times but place you in the lee
Of fortune flanking caution's harbored earth.
No, never let Old Ego's murky quests
Gain strength to cloud your yet befogged domain.

Nocturnally, diurnally come tests
You cannot fail and still on course remain.
Unmatched you've mastered oceans to be known.

Meticulously charting Pluto's shoals.
Engaged, involved, enamored in your zone,
Drive on, in unseen waters seek your goals.

Relinquishing with tears my ties so true
I lone cast off with, "Thank you, NYU!"
