Whence Hearest Thou My Plea

Come back to me my pledge to thee should be
To never 'gain thy silent dreams confound.
Come back and see how I can be for thee
A better friend than ever might be bound.

Come back to free thy soul and we shall be
Forever mates aboard this ship of life
That sails the seas off leeward keys with glee
And never hopes to fathom signs of strife.

Come back that we may steep thy leafy tea
Abrosiaed in such bounteous broth above
As heaven keeps to toast my needy plea
That we might once again renew our love.

Come back My Sweet assured I shall not fail
Eternally to make of thee my grail.
